Community Church
Every day, our youth are moving toward defining moments—decisions that will shape their character, their faith, and their future. In those pivotal times, when the pull of the world is strong and their spiritual foundation is tested, they need more than good advice—they need godly leadership.
That’s why Lake Spokane Community Church is prayerfully seeking a youth leader who is called, equipped, and passionate about walking with students through these crossroads. We’re looking for someone who will not only teach truth but model it—someone who will inspire a hunger for God, encourage spiritual maturity, and stand as a steady guide when life gets hard.
This isn’t just a position—it’s a mission. And the impact is eternal.
The youth leader we’re looking for will reflect the character described in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–8—a life of integrity, spiritual maturity, and faithful leadership.
Through the lens of Scripture, our youth leader will model and teach God’s blessings, gifts, and expectations, with the goal of creating a hunger for spiritual maturity and genuine discipleship.
The aim is not to entertain—but to equip teens to live for Christ in the real world.
We believe in tackling real-life topics with biblical truth. Youth lessons will focus on practical application of Scripture, including:
Youth Group is an invitation to spend time and energy where it truly matters—deepening our REAL and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
This is not a passive program. It’s an active, intentional pursuit of faith and transformation, both for students and their leaders.
Parents will notice the impact too. A youth group rooted in truth and love will reinforce the core Christian values being taught in their homes, supporting a stronger, united family life.
While entertainment is NOT the goal—and attendance is NOT our measure of success—we believe in joyful, memorable experiences. You will plan regular fun events and outings that offer a healthy counterbalance to the challenging call of discipleship.
If you feel the Holy Spirit stirring your heart, and you’re ready to invest in the lives of young people with truth, grace, and love—we’d love to talk with you.
We’re a small rural church; as of now, the majority of our youth are home schooled.
The main objective of our youth leader is relationship with God, youth, and parents.
The position of youth leader requires approx. 8- 10 hrs./wk.
Other opportunities may offer additional hours/housing.
