We need a Youth Leader - Are you called?
Each day pushes our youth a step closer, when their Spiritual maturity will be tested; and they alone, with the Holy Spirits presence/absence, WILL ultimately make those profound, life changing “fork in the road” choices.
Lake Spokane Community Church is awaiting the youth leader God has called to shepherd the youth at LSCC.
LSCC’s youth leader will have all the attributes of. 1st Tim. 3: 1- 7, Titus 1: 6- 8.
Through the lens of scripture, LSCC Youth leader will model and teach God’s blessings, gifts and expectations for His children with the goal of fostering a hunger for Spiritual maturity and discipleship.
The range of subject topics will focus on God’s PRACTICAL; real life applications to real world issues such as: Prayer, Spiritual fruit/gifts, personal discipleship and Spiritual discernment, especially related to: worldly wisdom, Spiritual warfare, money, politics, and gossip. Also the BIBLICAL roles and responsibilities of men and women, the tremendous power SEX exerts upon our lives and the profound value of VICTORIOUSLY maintaining God’s standards.
Youth Group is an invitation to spend TIME AND ENERGIES where WE’RE saying it is; active investment as individuals and as a group, to deepen our REAL and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
A secondary benefit of youth group that parents will appreciate, will be the bolstering and enriching their family’s home life through the reinforcing of a united pursuit of core Christian values that are being taught in their homes.
Entertainment IS NOT, the purpose of this youth group! Nor are attendance numbers its measure of success; however, you will organize frequent, FUN events and outings as an attractive counter balance to the genuinely challenging demands of real discipleship.
